Year-round destination

Istria has two major areas - coastal and hinterland part; whereas Mediterranean climate is dominating along the coast, it gradually changes towards continental, due to the cold air circulating from the mountains and vicinity of the Alps.

The average air temperature in the winter is 7°C and in the summer 24°C with 2,387 hours of sunshine per year.

The sea temperatures range from the minimal 9°C during winter months to the maximal 26°C in August.
